Dr Kilfoyle is a neurologist and neurophysiologist specialising in peripheral nerve disease.

After graduating from the University of Auckland School of Medicine he trained as a neurologist at Auckland Hospital and subsequently undertook a Peripheral Nerve Disease and EMG fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota USA.

He has been a consultant neurologist and neurophysiologist at Auckland City Hospital, North Shore Hospital and Auckland Medical Specialists since 2007.

His private practice is confined to clinical neurophysiology testing; he does not have a private neurology consulting practice.
