Dr Barry Snow

Qualifications: MB ChB 1981 Auckland; FRACP 1989 

Specialty interests: General neurology, Parkinson’s disease, Botulinum toxin injections for migraine.

Dr Snow trained at University of Auckland School of Medicine and spent 8 years at the University of British Columbia as a clinical researcher into movement disorders and Parkinson’s disease.

He currently works at Auckland City Hospital as a neurologist. Dr Snow was previously the Director of Adult Medical Services and the Clinical Director of Neurology. He leads the Movement Disorders Clinic at Auckland City Hospital. He is Chair of the Neurological Foundation and sits of the board of Mercy Hospice. Dr Snow has extensive experience in general neurology and specific expertise in Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. He has expertise in botulinum toxin injections for movement disorders and for chronic migraine.
